Education

I am a sophomore at the University of Arkansas receiving a degree in animal science with the intent to go to vet school. I have a GPA of 4.0 and though it's only considered my second year, I have the credentials of a Junior. My overall academic goal is to receive my degree in Veterinary medicine at the University of California-Davis and eventually open my own equine clinic.

Experience

In high school I tutored several kids in both math and sciences and successfully increased their letter grades. I love tutoring because It gives me a sense of fulfillment and I enjoy teaching those who have a willingness to learn. In high school I took H. Chem, Calculus AB, H. Trig and AP Chem, College Physics and received an A in all courses. At the University of Arkansas I've taken, Chem I, and am currently enrolled in an advanced Trig class, Chem II, and Principles of Biology. I was/am also a part of the National Honors Society.

Hobbies

When I'm not spending my time studying, I either like to workout or ride equestrian horses. I used to compete but sadly couldn't do it as much once I came to the University of Arkansas. Currently, however, most of my time has been spent planning my study abroad trip to Mozambique (Southern Africa) for a community development project and poultry research.
